Recent flowers

Below are some of my favorite recent blooms!
The Penelopes, the Christinas, and the Johnnie Belles (the newest addition to our line up)!

The Johnnie Belles are the small-round buds with mustard in the center. They are named after my sweet, sweet grandma, Johnnie Belle. I could not be more honored to be named after such a patient, kind, and all around beautiful woman.

Completion and the process

Today we completed a very large project! We finished up our largest order EVER. There were a total of 468 flowers. That might not sound like that many flowers, but remember, each one is handcut and and put together one by one. It feels great to have it done. There were bouquets, boutonnieres, wrist corsages, and table flowers! I cannot wait to send it off to the bride. She is going to be very happy when the large box of flowers arrives on her doorstep!

Here are a few pictures from the process.

This project was confirmation for me that I’m doing what I’m suppose to do. I enjoyed just about every moment. It was great to work with Jess and Michaela on a couple different days. Joseph (my husband) was also a huge help and encouragement!

Until next time…
