Completion and the process

Today we completed a very large project! We finished up our largest order EVER. There were a total of 468 flowers. That might not sound like that many flowers, but remember, each one is handcut and and put together one by one. It feels great to have it done. There were bouquets, boutonnieres, wrist corsages, and table flowers! I cannot wait to send it off to the bride. She is going to be very happy when the large box of flowers arrives on her doorstep!

Here are a few pictures from the process.

This project was confirmation for me that I’m doing what I’m suppose to do. I enjoyed just about every moment. It was great to work with Jess and Michaela on a couple different days. Joseph (my husband) was also a huge help and encouragement!

Until next time…

Busy with Flowers…

These days I’m not just busy with flower making. I’m back in school to get a degree in Spanish! This week has been great. We got back from our trip to San Francisco last Tuesday night, and I am finally all caught up with work and school. Between running a business, studying, and having a social life, things have been great. I’m really enjoying the schedule and routine of things.

I’ll be back with some Etsy finds next week. Hope you have a wonderful almost Friday and weekend!

Peach, Ivory, and Yellow Bouquet

This bright bouquet was created for a 2014 Bride. She is in the process of ordering some MFA felt flowers for her big day. We made this Jess bouquet for her, so that she could see the colors in person! I love the colors she chose- Ivory, Lemonade, and Peach.

I can’t wait to make the flowers for her, her bridesmaids, and her tables!
